    Host Member Boulé

    Delta Alpha Boulé

    Chartered • January 6, 1990 • Northern, IL

    About Us

Delta Alpha Boulé, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, was chartered on January 6th,1990. Our calling was to expand membership beyond Chicago to the northern and western suburbs. Key persons in the founding of Delta Alpha Boulé include Archons Earl Woods, Sherman Noble, Craig Rucker, and L. C. McMillan. From 17 charter members, we’ve grown to 45, and for nearly three decades Delta Alpha Boulé has met the challenge to cultivate and develop the best of its members, and to share our talents within the community.

By “Inspiring Leadership, Service, and Education” our Social Action Program has received regional and national attention for working with middle and high school students in Chicago’s North Shore. Most recently Delta Alpha was recognized, at the 54th Grand Boulé, with 2 awards for our Boulé Scholars Mentoring Programs.

The annual Golf Outing in May, the Picnic in August, and Christmas Is For The Archousai in December are all major events that attract neighboring Boulés and guests. Delta Alpha year round takes concerted action to know the best of one another.

    Social Action Mentoring Program

Since its inception, Delta Alpha Boulé has shown commitment to the youth in our community. Mentoring has taken priority. During each school year Archons meet with students, routinely, to promote Academics, Leadership, and Service (ALS):

On the North Shore of Chicago, 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Haven Middle School and freshmen through seniors at Evanston High are among those enriched by sessions with Archons and our invited guests, including Archousai.

We are proud of the achievements of our mentees. Many have reached honor roll status on the junior high school level, and seniors have received scholarships for college. We celebrate these “Men Of The Future” and will continue to offer our encouragement.
